Davao Aguilas FC continue their quest to finally secure their first win in the Philippines Football League this afternoon, as they visit Stallion Laguna FC at the Binan Football Stadium at 4pm.
The Aguilas were denied that winning moment last week, a 2-0 loss to FC Meralco Manila at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium last week. Both goals took place in the second half, as Aris Caslib made some adjustments on their offense, while maintaining their defensive game plan against the Younghusbands in their first match against their old club.
Davao interim head coach Marlon Maro bemoaned the depth situation he has with the squad in that loss. Since then, he has received some good news with Angel Guirado finally now available to play.
As for the hosts, they are looking to pick up the pieces after their four-match winning run was halted in emphatic fashion against Kaya FC last week, losing 4-0 at the University of Makati.
This match will feature some offensive threats, as Jhanjhan Melliza will be up against Harry Sawyer and Dylan De Bruycker.
