ADAMSON University shut the door of De La Salle with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory, giving University of Santo Tomas the remaining Final Four berth on Thursday night in the UAAP Season 87 Men's Football Tournament at the UP Football Stadium.

The substitutes delivered for the Falcons, who played with a lot of pride, as Christian Hayahay struck in the 73rd-minute equalizer while Keivenn Banagodos produced the stoppage time winner, with both goals coming off corners.

Alonso Aguilar scored in the 25th minute for the Green Booters, who entered the match needing to sweep their last two matches to advance.

It was only the Falcons' second win of the season.

Pretty intense game coming back from one down. Good fighting spirit from both teams La Salle really wants it as well. We just happen to get the goals, it's crazy. It’s always by players, their effort of not giving up," said coach Darlton Digha, who is a former Adamson standout.

The Green Booters remained at 10 points in fifth spot, behind the Golden Booters' 14.

The Falcons, who now have six points, are determined to end the season on a winning note. Adamson, which revived its men's football program in 2014, will wrap up its campaign against University of the East on Sunday.

Like I said we want to end on a high note we want to show were not just representing we still come up and play like it's still the first game of the UAAP and its still very important," Digha said.

De La Salle takes on holders University of the Philippines on Sunday.
