Nuvali is set to host another major international competition at the end of the month, with the upcoming Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge Nuvali.
This leg will offer its participants ranking points, as they aspire to make it to the Elite16 of the Beach Pro Tour.
For this competition, 24 teams each in both the men's and women's division will fight it out for a chance at $75,000 pot. The field will be split into six pools of four teams each, with the top two from each group getting a berth into the knockout rounds.
Hoping to make it a double at Nuvali are the Aussie duo of D’Artagnan Potts and Jack Pearse, fresh from claiming the Asian Seniors Beach Volleyball Championship. The field will be much more difficult now with duos from across the world now in play.
The Philippines, will have five participating teams in the leg, with Ran Abdilla and Lerry John Francisco, James Buytrago and Rancel Varga, and Ronniel Rosales and Edwin Tolentino in the men's division, while Kly Orillaneda and Gen Eslapor, as well as Alexa Polidario and Jen Gaviola, are in the women's side.
