Ang Liga action is set to resume this afternoon at the football field inside the campus of San Beda in Mendiola, with a doubleheader involving National University.
The early part of the doubleheader involves Div II action between a couple of undefeated teams in the Bullpups and the Red Cubs at 1pm.
The hosts earned their lone victory via forfeit against UST back in August 13. The Bullpups on the other hand, are fresh from their win over DBTC a couple of weeks ago.
Both sides will be at full strength with the return of the core of the Philippine Under-18 national team that participated in the AFF Under-18 Tournament in Myanmar.
The later part of the doubleheader features a UAAP preseason matchup between the Bulldogs and UE at 3pm.
NU is currently in solo second place in Div I at ten points. They are fresh from a 2-0 victory against Perpetual last Sunday that allowed them to temporarily take hold of the lead for a few hours. They will have to deal with Rexon Capellan being suspended for this match as a result of being sent off against the Altas.
UE is still winless after a couple of matches, and their supposed matchup against UP last week was called off due to an unplayable field. Aside from that, they are still looking for their first goal of the tournament.
