Ang Liga action resumes tonight and tomorrow with matches taking place at the Moro Lorenzo Field inside the Ateneo de Manila University campus.
Tonight's matchup sees the UAAP champions Ateneo de Manila attempt to enter the top four in Div I, as they face the University of the East at 6pm.
Fresh from their third-place finish in the Pinas Cup in Clark, the Blue Eagles are looking to leapfrog idle San Beda and College of Saint Benilde with a win against the Red Warriors, who need to win out and seek outside help to break into the top four.
Tomorrow's matchup, also at 6pm, features Div II action, with Ateneo finally playing their first match since September 30, as they face National University.
The Blue Eaglets have yet to play an Ang Liga match since being badly gashed for nine goals by San Beda, going up against a Bullpups side that is looking to close out their eliminations campaign undefeated. A win here would bolster Ateneo's hopes to make the four-team postseason.
