The UAAP has officially handed a one-game suspension to Mohamed Tounakara of the University of Santo Tomas on Friday afternoon.
He was called for two technical fouls during UST's matchup on Wednesday night against La Salle at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The first one was for a "taunting" act at the 5:41 mark of the first quarter, with the second coming coming with 3:38 remaining in the fourth quarter, also of the taunting variety.
As such, receiving two such technicals merit an automatic ejection. It also warrants an one-game suspension.
Tounkara will serve the suspension this Saturday, as the Growling Tigers are set to host the Ateneo de Manila University at the Quadricentennial Pavillion.
