The Aboitiz Football Cup is considered as one of the longest-running grassroots sports tournaments in the Philippines, reflecting the Aboitiz Group of Companies' commitment to building stronger communities, fostering camaraderie, and nurturing the potential of Filipino youth. Aside from football, Aboitiz entered into a partnership with Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines Inc. (CCBPI) for the introduction and integration of the "Wasteless Campaign" into the competition, which highlights the harmony of sports and sustainability by encouraging young athletes to champion environmental stewardship both on and off the field.
The competition is set to head to Davao this weekend, with the opening ceremonies slated to take place at Tionko Field. As for Batangas, the final leg will take place a few weeks later.
