Riyadh Season officially joins LALIGA as a sponsor


Riyadh Season, represented by the CEO of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Engineer Faisal Bafarat, signed a partnership agreement with LALIGA, the Spanish football league, today (Tuesday). The agreement was signed by LALIGA President Javier Tebas, marking a three-season partnership that positions Riyadh Season as the official sponsor of one of the world’s strongest football leagues.

This partnership represents a new milestone in Riyadh Season’s journey toward global recognition, as the season aims to offer exceptional events that place Saudi Arabia at the forefront of global entertainment destinations, supported by the generous backing of the Kingdom’s leadership for the entertainment sector and other industries.

In a statement, Javier Tebas, President of LALIGA, highlighted the strategic importance of Saudi Arabia to LALIGA, noting the immense passion that Saudi football fans have for the Spanish league. He added that LALIGA is committed to fostering the growth of the sports and entertainment industry in the Kingdom by supporting distinguished initiatives like Riyadh Season.

David Villa, LALIGA Ambassador, also expressed his confidence that the partnership with Saudi Arabia would open new avenues for collaboration. He emphasized that football in the Kingdom has experienced tremendous growth in recent years, making it an ideal partner.

This partnership, which reflects Riyadh Season’s global presence, aims to organize promotional activities for both brands and implement joint initiatives targeting football fans and visitors to Riyadh Season, further enhancing the season’s appeal as a global destination.
