Games today at the Emilio Aguinaldo College Gym
2pm HS
4pm College
Emilio Aguinaldo College is hoping a little bit of home cooking can cure their losing skid this afternoon against the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta in the third edition of the NCAA On Tour.
The Generals have lost both of their games so far this season, and head coach Ariel Sison notes that both losses came at the end due to a weak endgame, says "If you’ve noticed, we’ve always finished badly. Now if we could somehow find a way to finish big, we’ll have a chance."
In their first match of the season, they managed to whittle down a large deficit to Lyceum but losing Hamadou Laminou in the fourth quarter due to fouls hurt their cause, whilst in their loss to Arellano last week saw them wilt in the fourth quarter and overtime as Ian Alban and Levi dela Cruz took over.
EAC will be facing a Perpetual Help side that has been the beneficiary of Edgar Charcos's production in their two matches so far.
The UE transfer has averaged 20.5 points for the Altas, as he has taken over the playmaking duties with Kieth Pido sidelined for the campaign due to a foot injury in preseason.
Head coach Frankie Lim shared to the media, "He’s a big reason why we’re playing like this, I’m confident he could sustain it."
Meanwhile, in the first game of the doubleheader, top meets bottom as the Junior Altas and the Brigadiers face off at 2pm.
