For those who want a good challenge, the first Tough Mudder Philippines is still taking in interested participants.

Set to take place this weekend at Portofino Amore in Alabang, the Tough Mudder Philippines is the first Tough Mudder event of its kind in the country.

Considered as the fastest-growing mass participation event in the world with over three million people having joined previously, Tough Mudder has events spanning all across the world.

According to Proactive Sports Management COO Justine Cordero, "We are very proud to be the local licensee of Tough Mudder for the country. We will bring Tough Mudder’s signature obstacle courses, and this event will give you the same experience of participating in Tough Mudder events in other parts of the world. It is high time that we brought Tough Mudder to the Philippines and we encourage runners to take advantage of this event. We would like to encourage everyone to sign up for the much-awaited Tough Mudder Philippines event, set this weekend, July 21-22, 2018."

Tough Mudder CEO and co-founder Will Dean shares, "Tough Mudder events have united millions seeking a more engaging, communal form of active lifestyle. We are excited to partner with Proactive Sports Management, who has a proven track record for success for athletic events in the Philippines. To ensure locals and tourists alike will have the same unparalleled experience that has made Tough Mudder the must-do event for OCR enthusiasts and weekend warriors alike."

There are two race lengths (5K or Half) available for participants, with the option to choose from two kits for either race.

The 5K Basic costs PhP 1,700 and comes with an event singlet, race bib, finisher's shirt, and finisher's headband. The 5K Premium costs PhP 3,200 and contains the 5K Basic package, as well as a drybag (10L) and a towel.
