Jose Rizal University and Emilio Aguinaldo College are seeking to end their skid against separate opposition this afternoon at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
The Heavy Bombers are coming off a debilitating 74-58 loss to Letran last Friday, dropping them to 0-4 this season. They seek to get themselves back on track against College of Saint Benilde at noon today, with the Blazers also smarting from a loss against defending champions San Beda last week.
Speaking of the Red Lions, they will also be in action later this afternoon, with a 4pm tip against the winless Generals.
The defending champions are seeking to remain in lockstep with Lyceum atop the standings as the last two undefeated teams in the NCAA, with a win putting them a game behind the Pirates.
Unlike JRU though, EAC has had a chance to secure a win in all of their three matches, with the opportunity to securing a hard-earned victory in their final possession in the past couple of games.
The other collegiate matchup sees Arellano go up against Mapua at 2pm, with both teams fresh from contrasting results last Friday.
The Chiefs eked out an 82-81 squeaker against San Sebastian, while the Cardinals fell victim to Lyceum, 94-81.
