La Salle posted their second win this season, defeating Adamson, 4-1, in the UAAP men's badminton action at the Rizal Memorial Badminton Hall.
Kenneth Monterubio kicked off the successful Green Shuttlers' campaign with a 21-13 and 21-19 victory over EJ Viloria in the first singles match. But the Falcon Shuttlers managed to equalize c/o Kevin Fabros, defeating Andrew Pineda, 21-18 and 21-17.
But it was in the doubles that La Salle was able to secure the win, as Gerald Sibayan and Anton Cayanan easily beating Viloria and Elben Concha, 21-15 and 21-16, which was followed by Jerickson Obaob and Cayel Pajarillo dominating over Joshua Antonio and Jeffrey Iquina, 21-6 and 21-14.
Capping the win is EJ Boac's triumph over Gerloth Delizo in the final singles, 21-14 and 21-13.

Ateneo bounced back from its opening day defeat with a 5-0 beat down of the University of the East.
Kicking off the sweep is Hanz Bernardo's victory over Andre Donesa in the first set of singles, 21-14 and 21-12, while Clarence Filart doubled things up with a 21-17 and 21-7 triumph over King Espiritu.
The doubles portion saw Bernardo and Carlo Remo clinch the win for the Blue Eagles against Arman Manlalangit and Kenneth Cruz, 21-19 and 21-7, while Fidez Bagasbas and Patrick Gecosala survived the Espiritu siblings, 30-28 and 21-13.
Capping the sweep for the Blue Shuttlers is Jan Mangubat's 21-15 and 21-13 result against Angelo David.

Also netting a sweep is UP, handily dismantling FEU.
Jon Masongsong beat Joshua Bernardo, 21-17 and 21-8, while Miggy Leonardo also took care of Josh Maquelabit, 21-16 and 21-14.
In the doubles, Joaquin Deato and CK Clemente teamed up to clinch the win for the Maroons, beating Jade Sarmiento and Vince Lagnada, 21-13 and 21-17. Roberto Pineda and Vinci Manuel managed to replicate that feat with a 21-18 and 21-13 triumph over Maquelabit and Rafael Dionisio.
Finishing the sweep off was a 21-17 and 21-19 decision from Jojo Malelang over Jacob Tercias.
