He was one of the best up-and-coming swimmers in the country from Naga, eventually setting records with La Salle on the pool, garnering a Rookie of the Year nod, three MVP trophies, and a UAAP-record seven gold medals in one season.
This episode will allow fans to check back with both alumni as to what is keeping them busy as of late, and how they still get to continue their passion for sports.
Aside from Enchong and Renren, University Town will also feature a couple of student-artists in Angie Torres of the DLSU Animo Squad and Sam Libao of the La Salle Dance Company. Both will talk about their "winning formula" in delivering outstanding performances for their school.
In addition, current La Salle president Bro. Raymundo Suplido RSC, Ph.D will explain how the "Animo" chant came to be and what the "Green Archer" monicker stands for.
Zed Laqui will tour Robi and Gretchen around the campus to its famous landmarks. Zed says La Salle gives its students the opportunity to contribute to society. He cited that in one of his classes, they went outside to conduct research guided by the theories that they learned in class. From there, they would devise policies that would be implemented in their assigned communities.
The duo will also visit Teddy Fabian, considered as La Salle's "secret weapon." He is instrumental in keeping the defending champions in men's basketball fit and physically sound. They will also visit the other outstanding squads under its athletic program, including its poomsae and table tennis teams.
University Town is normally shown every Sunday at 1pm, followed up with a prime-time telecast the next day. La Salle is the sixth school that the show has visited out of the eight UAAP schools.
