Adamson keeps San Beda winless in Fr. Martin's Cup Summer League

Defending champions San Beda still yet to produce a win in the Fr. Martin's Cup Summer League, as they bowed to Adamson in their matchup at SGS Gym, 73-69.

An Andrey Doria triple allowed the Soaring Falcons to take the lead for good, before he and Jed Colonia's free throws ensured their first victory in the tournament.

Lendu Dimercia pounded the interior with 21 points and twenty rebounds, while Colonia contributed twelve points and seven assists.

University of Santo Tomas defeated La Salle in the opening match for women's basketball in the tournament, 52-49.

The Lady Archers would rue the chance to win this game if they shot better from the stripe, going 16/31 there.

Elonda Rivera led all scorers with sixteen points, while Grace Irebu added twelve points and ten rebounds for the Tigresses.

Joehanna Arciga led La Salle with ten points, five rebounds, and six assists.

In high school action, La Consolacion defeated AMA, 80-74 in Group B.

LCC-M led by fourteen at the half, with Kobe Pableo and Edrian Notarte proving vital in preserving the win as AMA mounted their comeback attempt.

Ymard Urbano led La Consolacion with 24 points and thirteen rebounds, while Chad Amante adding nineteen points and three rebounds.

Christian Germino led AMA with 26 points and thirteen rebounds.

Far Eastern University capped off action with an 84-82 win over St. Patrick in Group A of high school action.

Cholo Anonuevo's free throws with thirty seconds left broke an 82-all deadlock, with Siegfried Llamado's baseline jumper grazed off the rim to prevent overtime.

Anonuevo finished with seventeen points and seven rebounds, while the duo of Aaron Lumapas and Geremie Sanchez combined for 52 points.
