Men's football matches Thursday at the Moro Lorenzo Field:
1 pm. – Ateneo vs UP
3 pm. – UE vs Adamson
Weekday college football is set to resume tomorrow at the Moro Lorenzo Field, as Ateneo and the University of the Philippines clash in the opening match of the afternoon doubleheader.
Both teams are fresh from their first wins of the season last Saturday, with each team doing so via shutouts.
The Maroon Booters beat UE that afternoon, 2-0, with Raphael Resuma and Vincent Aguilar finally giving the school their first goals of the season.
Later that evening, Ateneo bounced back from their struggles to start the season with an impressive second half in dealing Adamson a 4-0 defeat.
The winner in that matchup will move past defending champions FEU in fourth place.
Adamson and UE will attempt to bounce back from their Saturday defeats in the second half of their double-header at 3pm. The Warriors have a solitary point, but has not yet scored a goal this season. On the other hand, the Falcons have allowed a league-worst eight goals this season in their three losses.
