Pinoy NBA fans had a blast last Friday, as the league opened its second NBA Store in the country at the SM Megamall.
Located at the Mega Fashion Hall, the SM Megamall NBA Store had five-time NBA champion Ron Harper as a special guest to open the facility and conduct a "meet and greet" with select fans.
Much like the first store in Glorietta, the NBA store will offer authentic NBA merchandise and memorabilia, with an extensive selection of products from all 30 teams. There will also be a personalized jersey service to be offered. Also, items from the different apparel brands (Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, New Era, Spalding, Stance, et al) will be made available for purchase.
International Athletic Trading Company, Inc. President and CEO Melvin Lloyd Lim gushed about the upcoming opening, "The initial flagship NBA Store in Glorietta has established itself as the premier destination for NBA fanatics in the country and we could not be more excited to fuel their passion with the unveiling of our second store. By opening our doors in the heart of Metro Manila, we look forward to providing more fans access to a comprehensive assortment of NBA merchandise, bringing the authentic NBA shopping experience to Filipinos." IATC manages both NBA Stores here in the country, and in fact, IATC and NBA Philippines were rewarded with a Gold Award from the 2015 Asia Sports Industry Awards for "Best Sports Retail Campaign."
NBA Asia's AVP and Country Manager for the Philippines Carlo Singson is thrilled "to expand our footprint with the opening of the second NBA Store in the Philippines." He adds, "IATC is the ideal partner in our efforts to outfit more Filipinos in their favorite NBA apparel and to offer the widest range of NBA merchandise in the Philippines."
