Xavier Henry punctuates Lakers win

The Los Angeles Lakers bounced back from their blowout loss to Minnesota with a 116-95 domination over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Xavier finished with 15 points in the win.

Interestingly, both players were teammates in Kansas as freshmen in 2009-10. Henry would then bolt for the draft, while Withey matriculated for four years in Lawrence, developing his niche as solid big man for Bill Self. Coincidentally, today's NBA games pretty much were the background to the main event of the day in the American basketball world, the Champions Classic.That event featured four of the top 5 teams in the AP Top 25, with almost 70 NBA scouts checking possibly 14 future first round picks, including one Kansas Jayhawk.
