The Philippine Football Federation revealed its provisional 20-man lineup that will play against the United Arab Emirates on November 9 at the Zayed Sports City Stadium.

With notable Azkals like Neil Etheridge and Stephan Schröck and Javier Patiño unavailable for this particular friendly, (the FIFA-designated international match days are from November 15-19), the group will rely on skipper Chieffy Caligdong as well as the scoring exploits of Phil Younghusband, who had just scored eight goals in a domestic cup game earlier this week. Without Etheridge, it will be up to either Ed Sacapano or Patrick Deyto tasked to protect the net. Helping them will be the task of the likes of Rob Gier and Juani Guirado, who are two of the five players based overseas that will possibly play in this friendly.

The provisional roster is as follows:

Amani Aguinaldo
Marwin Angeles
Misagh Bahadoran
Jerry Barbaso
Emelio Caligdong
Jeffrey Christiaens
Jason de Jong
Patrick Deyto
Rob Gier
Chris Greatwich
Angel Guirado
Juani Guirado
Ray Jonsson
Mark Hartmann
Jerry Lucena
OJ Porteria
Patrick Reichelt
Eduard Sacapano
James Younghusband
Phil Younghusband
