Nonito issues KO victory

Nonito Donaire made sure that the Philippines had something good to look forward to in light of Haiyan / Yolanda.

Donaire needed nine rounds to dispatch old nemesis Vic Darchinyan in Corpus Christi, Texas. A left hook sent the Armenian down, but he bounced back up and Nonito would not let up, getting off a couple of uppercuts before referee Laurence Cole intervened with 2:06 remaining in the round.
