Earlier this month. EA Sports and LaLiga collaborated on an ad aimed to illustrate a sport that is both without barriers and is for everyone.
Entitled "Transforming the game," it toggles between the virtual and real worlds, with the main ethos highlighting the sport making a positive impact on society, a belief shared by both brands and will be extended to all projects it jointly conducts.
Filmed at a pitch in Vallecas that LALIGA refurbished back in July, it involves several players who received scholarships at the LALIGA ACADEMY from EA SPORTS this year. The LALIGA ACADEMY is LALIGA's international academy based at the ESC LALIGA & NBA Centre, a centre of sporting and academic excellence in Madrid that works towards promoting and encouraging grassroots football worldwide. Both the pitch refurbishments and the scholarships are part of LALIGA FC FUTURES project, which encompasses its joint global initiatives in the field of youth football, and manifests its missing to "Transforming the game."
