The best and the brightest from the just-concluded 2023-24 athletic season will be given their due recognition by the Collegiate Press Corps at its Annual Awards Night.
Presented by the San Miguel Corporation, the event will take place at venue partner Discovery Suites Manila in Ortigas, Pasig, on June 17, with Jockey serving as a minor sponsor.
This year's edition reverts back to its normal edition of honoring the past season's achievements in both the UAAP and the NCAA, after having to honor three seasons last year as a result of the pandemic.
In addition, the CPC is adding a few more awards to recognize the achievements in women's basketball and men's volleyball, continuing its expansion and growth since the merger of the separate press corps of the UAAP and NCAA back in 2022.
Women's Basketball will match its men's counterparts by having its own Player of the Year, Mythical Five, and Coach of the Year, while Men's Volleyball will also have its own awardees for both leagues, with the growth of the sport reflecting in newer heights.
In total, 23 total awards will be handed out to the best of the best in collegiate basketball and volleyball.
