Reinhard Jumamoy will be staying home for college, as he made official his commitment to National University on Saturday.
In his only season with the Bullpups, he averaged 18.1 points, 9.7 rebounds, 6.9 assists, and 2.8 steals, while leading them to the Final Four of the UAAP Season 85 HS Boys Basketball tournament. His on-court exploits, which included three triple-doubles, put him third in the NBTC 24 rankings.
The 5-foot-11 point guard will boost a backcourt that already has Jake Figueroa, Kean Baclaan, and Steve Nash Enriquez, as well as fellow incoming guard LA Casinillo.
Jeff Napa says about Reinhard's commitment, "We are very happy and thankful kay Reinhard and sa family niya for choosing to stay sa NU program. Malaking bagay yung ganito para sa NU, kasi ito yung pagpapatuloy namin sa kagustuhan naming maging isa sa "big boys.""
The 19-year-old Cebuano is set to lead the Bullpups into the upcoming 2023 SMART-NBTC National Finals, which will start this week at the Mall of Asia Arena. He also is set to participate in the 2023 Under Armour NBTC All-Star Game on Sunday, representing Team Hustle on March 19.
