President's Cup to name a "Toughest Team"

Game not for the faint of heart.

3x3 basketball has generally been recognized as intense, physical, and tough.

However, the action in the 2020 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 President's Cup powered by TM seems to taken that level a little bit higher that normal, as seen in the past couple of legs.

As what Alvin Pasaol put it when this was raised with the media, "Ganiyan naman talaga ang 3x3, pisikalan. Pagdating naman sa labas, magkakaibigan, magbabarkada pa rin."

Such action has gotten the attention of Gold's Gym Chief Executive Officer Mylene Dayrit, who has decided to back the league through UFC Gym.

She quipped, "I saw the physicality of the games and we think that there are future MMA fighters in this league. Kidding aside, 3x3 basketball is like the MMA of basketball. We want to help in training them after they get out of the 'Calambubble' and teach them the discipline of martial arts."

As a result, Chooks-to-Go 3x3 will be naming a "Toughest Team of the Conference," based from squad performance and shows calm amidst physicality. The team will be rewarded a one-year membership at UFC Gym.

The winner will be announced during the Grand Finals on October 30.
