Collegiate Awards set to honor season's best and brightest

Ravena, Bolick set to lead cast of awardees

With the athletic school year already completed, it is time for the best and brightest collegiate standouts to be feted at the 2019 Chooks-to-Go Collegiate Press Corps Awards, presented by SportsVision.

Conducted annually by the different print and online media outfits covering both the NCAA and the UAAP, the 2019 edition takes place on May 27 at the Amelie Hotel Manila in Malate.

Leading the cast of outstanding student-athletes to be feted are the men's basketball teams of Ateneo and San Beda, who both impressively clinched their respective league titles this season. The Blue Eagles took care of business against upstarts the University of the Philippines to retain their UAAP title, while the Red Lions remain the standard of excellence with eleven titles in the last thirteen seasons, including the last two against Lyceum.

Of course, certain individuals will also be honored for their breakout performance and achievements with their respective special awards.

The 2019 Chooks-to-Go Collegiate Press Corps Awards presented by SportsVision is also supported by Amelie Hotel, Northport, World Balance, and AXA Team EDS. The event will be streamed LIVE on both the Facebook pages of Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas and Tiebreaker Times.
