ONE Championship announced on Friday that its inaugural MMA event in Surabaya, Indonesia, called ONE: Conquest of Kings, has been rescheduled from its initial July 29 date, citing logistical issues.
ONE Championship has not yet revealed a new date for the Surabaya event, although they reaffirmed their commitment to have four MMA events in Indonesia for 2018, so fans can anticipate their favorite local superstars like Sunoto, Stefer Rahardian, and Anthony Engelen to be involved in those.
ONE Championship's next major MMA event will take place at the Cotai Arena in Macao. Set to occur on August 5, ONE: Kings and Conquerors will have Bibiano Fernandes defend his ONE Bantamweight title against Andrew Leone.
On a 12-match winning streak, Fernandes has remained the Bantamweight titleholder since 2013, and is considered one of the best in the world in that division. Leone, on the other hand, earned his shot at the title with three solid wins over top-caliber opponents.
