Game 3 set

Tyler Tio and Kib Montalbo
It all comes down to one last game.

Ateneo and La Salle will duke it out for the final collegiate game in UAAP Season 80, as Game 3 of the Finals is scheduled to take place at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum at 330pm.

The Blue Eagles were at the cusp of securing a championship this past Wednesday, erecting a 21-point lead before the Green Archers came back to tie things up in Game 2, 92-83. The comeback was anchored on the efforts of MVP Ben Mbala, Andrei Caracut, and Ricci Rivero.

Even with the loss, the Blue Eagles are still grateful for another chance to claim a championship. Assistant Sandy Arespacochaga said so during the post-match scrum with the media, "This is still an opportunity for us to get the championship and we’re putting things in perspective, we’re still excited that we have an opportunity to win, we had an opportunity (last Wednesday) didn’t happen but we’re still blessed to have another opportunity so that’s the way we gonna approach it we’re looking forward to preparing for (today’s) game."
