Kaya FC Makati is looking to make it back-to-back victories on the road this afternoon, as they travel to Tagum to face Davao Aguilas FC in the prime Philippines Football League matchup today, with LIVE telecast on PTV 4.

One thing that will be expected at the Davao del Norte Sports Complex is a lively home crowd, with a total of sixteen thousand people having watched the last four home matches.

According to head coach Noel Marcaida, "It's a great feeling coming here and playing our first away game against Davao. All the games played by the Davao Aguilas have always had a great atmosphere, so we're expecting a big crowd and we're expecting an exciting game." He adds, "We came here to win and to get maximum points. If we go back to the game where we played them in our home turf, we were very positive. We created lots of chances, and majority of the possession was with us. Although the Aguilas threatened in the second half, we held them to a 2-0 scoreline."

As for Eric Giganto, the match serves as a homecoming, as the young Kaya forward is a native of Maco, Compostela Valley. He expressed excitement to put on a show in front of a familiar audience, much like what his former FEU teammates Paolo Bugas and Amani Aguinaldo got when they had their own homecoming when Global Cebu FC played recently. According to Eric, "Majority of the crowd will be my friends. The crowd will be very supportive. I've experienced it myself as a native of Davao. We hope to give them a great game. They have a strong side. Especially since they are eager to win [their first] three points, I'm expecting they will do their best. And so will we."

Kaya FC-Makati is currently fifth in the league with 14 points after nine matches, just two points behind Ceres-Negros FC, which demolished Ilocos United 7-0 to enter the top half of the standings. Davao is in sixth place with just four points and still seeking their first victory as a team. In their last meeting, Kaya defeated the Aguilas, 2-0 at the University of Makati.

The other PFL matchup today sees Global Cebu FC seeking to follow up its 1-0 victory against Ceres-Negros with another victory against struggling Stallion Laguna FC at the Cebu City Sports Center. Kick off for that matchup will be at 7pm.
