Additional matches for ONE: Kings and Conquerors

This coming August 5. ONE: Kings and Conquerors
With the upcoming ONE: Kings and Conquerors looming in the horizon this coming August 5 at the Cotai Arena at the Venetian Macao, ONE Championship has announced three additional matches to complement the main event matchup of ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes against Andrew Leone.

Serving as the co-main event for ONE: Kings and Conquerors is a match to determine the true ONE Flyweight World Champion. Current champion Kairat Akhmetov is undefeated in his entire six-year stint as a MMA pro spanning 23 fights. His split decision victory over Adriano Moraes back in November 2015 to claim the title also happened to be his last match coming into this one, due to injuries and other family matters.

Since dropping the tile to Akhmetov, Moraes bounced back with a win over Eugene Toquero, then followed it with a submission victory over Tilek Batyrov for the ONE: Interim Flyweight World Title. Now that Akhmetov is ready, the long-awaited rematch that originally was supposed to be the main event in the now-postponed ONE: Conquest of Kings is finally here.

In addition to the co-main event, ONE Championship has set up a bantamweight match featuring Toni Tauru and Leandro Issa, as well as a middleweight match involving Marcin Prachnio and Gilberto Galvão.

"The Dynamite" is toting an 11-5-1 record, with eight of the Finn's wins coming through submission. He will go up against "Brodinho" and his 13-6 record, with nine of the Brazilian's wins coming by submission.

Prachnio totes a 12-2 professional MMA record, with a seven-match winning streak. That streak includes his three ONE Championship matches (Alexandre Machado, Leandro Ataides, Jake Butler). To be considered as a top contender for the middleweight title, he would have to deal with "Giba," who has 29 victories under his belt, including his ONE Championship debut against Tatsuya Mizuno.
