Fifteen teams have a chance to get a couple of berths into the Jeddah Masters in Saudi Arabia next month. Balanga Chooks is already assured of a berth for that particular tournament thanks to their efforts at the recently-concluded Patriot's Cup.
Balanga also happens to the be the lone Filipino side that will not go through qualifying, with the other four teams slotted to enter the first phase of action at SM City Fairview.
Narvacan will be dealing with Melbourne iAthletic and Jakarta South in QD A, while Pasig Chooks, Isabela Chooks, and Zamboanga comrpise QD B.
The QD A top-notcher will be slotted into Pool C with Gagarin and Belgrade NetTV, while the QD B top-notcher will be in Pool D with Kranj and Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy.
Leading the cast of favorites for the Manila Challenger is Riga Ghetto and the top-ranked player in 3x3, Karlis Lasmanis.
Coverage starts at 10am on ESPN5's social media channels, with televised action starting at noon.
