President's Cup champions Equaliver-Pasig tweaked its lineup with Leo de Vera and Travis Thompson joining Joshua Munzon and Dylan Ababou, while Patriot's Cup champions Phenom-Basilan-CTC Construction snapping up Aris Dionisio and Davon Potts alongside Franky Johnson and Troy Rike.
Two-time runners-up Wilkins Balanga will ride on the quartet of Alvin Pasaol, Karl Dehesa, Leonard Santillan, and Chris De Chavez.

Format is tweaked for the Magiting Cup compared to the previous campaigns, as the top two teams in each group will advance into the crossover quarterfinals.
