12th NBTC National Finals set this March

The closest thing to determining the best secondary school unit in the country is once again set to take place.

Now on its twelfth edition, the Chooks-to-Go NBTC National Finals presented by SM will take place this coming March 18-24 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

To determine the field of participants in the National Finals, mini-tournaments have been conducted in 105 cities nationwide, an increase from last year's 80. To whittle the field further, regional tournaments are also taking place, with sixteen champions set to join ten NCR teams, including defending champion and freshly-minted UAAP Season 81 winners Nazareth School of National University.

As has been the norm for the past few years, overseas-based Filipinos have been invited to participate, with the notable case being top US NCAA Div I HS prospect Jalen Green making his way here last year. This year's edition sees squads from the United States, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and two from Canada (Toronto and Vancouver) complete the National Finals field.

The NBTC will also be holding other events to supplement the National Finals, including the Coaches Convention and the All-Star Game.

Also supporting the National Finals are Darlington Exped Socks, Purefoods, Freego Jeans, Huawei, Gatorade, Go for Gold, and Epson.
