The NBA continues to make inroads into eSports, as they unveiled the official NBA 2K League logo earlier this week.

The logo, which was crafted by Hattiesburg, Mississippi-based branding agency RARE Design. merges the colors and shape of the NBA logo with the font style of NBA 2K logo.

What stands out from the NBA 2K League logo to the NBA's is the absence of a human silhouette, which speaks to the league's inclusive nature, providing opportunities for any kind of player to try out, regardless of age, gender, or location.

Serving as the centerpiece of the logo is a basketball, representing the common thread bringing all NBA 2K players together.

The NBA 2K League will have 17 teams for its initial season, where they will draft gamers that would play as unique characters in 5-on-5 play. The league is a collaboration between the NBA and Take Two Interactive Software, the developer behind the
