Go, Tankoua tipped as Pivotal Players

Ateneo de Manila's Isaac Go and San Beda's Donald Tankoua are set to be honored for their clutch achievements at the 2018 Chooks-to-Go Collegiate Basketball Awards this Thursday night at The Bayleaf Hotel inside Intramuros.

The two big men are this year's recipients of the Pivotal Player award, which goes to the player that was crucial in their team's drive to the championship.

Go made all of those big shots for the Blue Eagles in their run to the UAAP Season 80 title, ending a five-season drought. Tankoua, on the other hand, was a dominating presence inside the paint for the Red Lions for their successful title defense in NCAA Season 93.

Aside from the Pivotal Player award, the Collegiate Basketball Awards will also hand out other awards on that evening, like the Chooks-To-Go Player of the Year, Mythical Five, and Breakout Player.

Handled by the UAAP-NCAA Press Corps. the ceremony is supported by Chooks-To-Go and The Bayleaf Intramuros.
