All fighters set to participate in the main card itself made weight without incident, including the WSOF-GC Heavyweight Title fight featuring champion Evgeny Erokhin of Russia and Richard Odoms of the United States.
A couple of fighters that were to fight on the earlier portion of the card had a little bit of a problem during the weigh-in. Jessdan dela Pena missed the contracted weight of 155, ending up at 162. A second weigh-in attempt to make 160 was made two hours later, but he failed to make the weight. Kelvin Ong re-weighed at 156 from his original 150 in order for both fighters to be within ten pounds of each other. Kelvin will receive half of Jessdan's total fight purse as a result. In addition, Yadwinder Singh missed the contracted weight on his first attempt at 127.5, but made the 125-lb limit within one hour.
Fans who want to watch the fights online can do so starting 6pm Philippine Standard Time (6am EST) via wsofgc.com, as well as mmaweekly.com, globalcombatnetwork.com, and fightnewsaustralia.com. Tickets are still available at the venue.
Fans can also go to wsofgc.com to be able to view its Global Fight Library. One can check out the previous fights found on the site, including the ones from its different affiliates worldwide.
In addition, WSOF-GC, through Livit, would be able to provide fans with a 360-degree perspective and viewpoint of the fights. Fans could do this through the LivitNow app, with the ability and capability to control how they see the action and crowd.
