The Brooklyn Nets and the third quarter have never really been great bedfellows, but on one night against the free-falling Philadelphia 76ers, Joe Johnson reminded everyone of the power of the phrase "He's on Fire" on NBA Jam.

On his way to putting up 29 points in the 3rd quarter, he tied a NBA record for 3-pointers in a quarter with eight. He finished with 37 points (on a league-high ten conversions from deep) as the Nets won for the fourth time in the last five games. It also moves the Nets from once being at the bottom of the Atlantic to just middling in third place in the division, and a game out of eight place in the postseason picture.

Oh, here is his shot chart from that period.
