Bacolod keeps knockout round hopes alive with Pagadian City whipping

Bacolod-Master Sardines kept their knockout hopes alive with a 22-12 win over Pagadian City-Rocky Sports in the continuation of pool play at the second leg of the 2020 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 President's Cup powered by TM.

Anton Asistio and Alfred Batino each netted seven points in the win. The former shared after the game, "Actually mas disppointed kami sa loss kanina. We thought we had it in the bag. We made sure to use Alfred dahil siya yung advantage namin."

Pagadian City still has a chance to advance into the knockout rounds with their matchup against Porac to close out their pool play.

Three teams have earned their spots in the knockout rounds, with Sarangani, Pasig-Sta. Lucia, and Bicol booking victories.

The Marlins knocked out Palayan City in just over five minutes, 21-13. The Realtors took care of business against Roxas City, 21-18 in almost seven and a half minutes. Bicol nipped Zamboanga Peninsula Valientes-MLV, 21-19 in under nine minutes.

The Capitals, Roxas City, and the Valientes lost all their pool play matches to exit second leg action.
